Gargiulo + Partners brings committed and talented specialists to each assignment. Our team includes professionals with decades of experience in their fields and associates who bring fresh perspectives to the work.


Diane Gargiulo, founder and president of Gargiulo + Partners, has four decades of experience in financial communications, advising financial-services firms, corporations, and non-profits on marketing, transaction-related, and investor communications. She also advises executives and board directors on communications issues and presentation delivery.

Prior to starting Gargiulo + Partners in 1999, Diane was with J.P. Morgan’s Mergers and Acquisitions team in New York and London. As head of Morgan’s Global Client Communications group, she advised on and oversaw communications relating to a variety of financial transactions: acquisitions, mergers, and divestitures of publicly traded and privately held entities; privatizations of state-owned utilities and financial firms in Europe and Latin America; and initial public offerings.

Before joining J.P. Morgan, Diane was a marketing specialist in the international banking sector at Manufacturers Hanover.

Diane holds a B.A., summa cum laude, Phi Beta Kappa, from Fordham University, and an M.A. from Columbia University.


Gerry Dempsey is an advisor at Gargiulo + Partners. He helps international business leaders tailor their messaging for an audience of U.S. investment and finance professionals. Drawing on three decades of communications practice in North America, Europe, and East Asia, Gerry pays special attention to the clarity of his clients' discourse, and the context of their message.

Gerry holds a B.S. in linguistics from Georgetown University, and a Ph.D. in linguistics from the City University of New York. His writing has appeared in World Trade Magazine and Communication World, among other business publications, and he has lectured worldwide on global communications topics. Dr. Dempsey works in English, French, Danish, Dutch, German, Italian, Portuguese, and Spanish.


Rosemarie Fitzpatrick is a director, senior project manager, and marketing strategist at Gargiulo + Partners. She has more than three decades of experience implementing fully integrated marketing campaigns across all media, and her expertise includes strong knowledge of the print production process and a keen design sensibility. Prior to joining the firm in 2007, Rosemarie was a Senior Vice President and Director of Client Services for an advertising and design agency. Her clients have included American Express, The Bank of New York, Citibank, JPMorgan Chase, MasterCard, Estee Lauder, Ford Motors, New York University, Novartis Animal Health, plus numerous private equity and professional associations.

Rosemarie has been an internship sponsor and mentor for nearly a decade with The Institute of International Education, helping undergraduate and graduate marketing students from Europe hone their communication and presentation skills and their ability to think and work on a global basis. She has also been a guest classroom lecturer for several domestic and international universities.

Rosemarie holds a B.B.A. in advertising, with a minor in art and history, from Bernard M. Baruch College. Her postgraduate studies include Ogilvy and Mather's Management Training Program and numerous courses in Production Management and Internet/Interactive Media.


André Gutierrez serves as a senior advisor to Gargiulo + Partners. He has more than 25 years of experience in strategic communications consulting, brand-building and business development.

André has advised on several groundbreaking communications initiatives. Prominent examples include leading many successful brand-repositioning projects with international public companies and non-profit entities, ranging from Banco Santander to Telefonica to Right to Play; helping pioneer the field of "audio branding," the strategic use of music, sound and voice as brand-building tools, with clients like Verizon and ANZ Bank; and spearheading innovative and award-winning branded content/communications initiatives with Bank of the West, The NAMES Project Foundation and Pfizer.

André resides in Athens, Greece, where he started his career teaching English and preparing students for study and work in the U.S. and U.K. He holds a B.S.F.S. from Georgetown University's Edmund A. Walsh School of Foreign Service, and an M.A. from the Middlebury Institute of International Studies at Monterey. André speaks fluent Spanish and is conversant in Greek.


Amy Hughlett, director at Gargiulo + Partners, is a writer, editor, and executive coach. She co-leads the firm's presentation advisory practice. For two decades, she has worked in marketing and communications and has studied the discipline of performance and presentation. During that time, she has also performed at numerous venues in Manhattan. Amy began her career with Gargiulo + Partners, where she worked for nearly a decade advising the firm's clients on a range of communications issues. In subsequent years, she was an account and project manager at a graphic design firm, and a group account supervisor at two pharmaceutical advertising agencies.

Amy has handled a variety of assignments, including preparing executives and executive teams for IPOs and media interviews, coaching executives on presentation technique and delivery, brand positioning, developing and executing strategic marketing plans, overseeing development of digital content and marketing collateral, and writing and editing financial documents. Her clients have included JPMorgan Chase, Bloomberg LP, Cornell University, Macy’s, Genentech, Novartis, as well as several private equity and financial services firms of all sizes.

A classically trained soprano with a focus in vocal pedagogy, Amy holds a B.Mus., summa cum laude, from Vanderbilt University, and an M.M. from Manhattan School of Music. She has studied and performed in French, German, Italian, Spanish, and Russian.


Cassandra Lenahan is a director and marketing specialist at Gargiulo + Partners. She has more than two decades of experience in financial marketing and presentation advisory. At the firm, Cassandra advises senior management, bankers, analysts, and product teams on a range of communications issues and presentation best practices.

Previously, Cassandra was head of Citi Private Bank's U.S. and Canada Marketing Group. There, she led a team responsible for developing and implementing marketing programs, including collateral development, client presentations, events, sponsorships, and press relations. Before Citi, Cassandra managed product and marketing groups at Bank of America's asset management division, Columbia Management Group, and J.P. Morgan Private Bank's Presentation Advisory Group. She began her career in Merrill Lynch's Private Client Group and has Series 7, 63 and 24 licenses.

An active volunteer with the New York Junior League, Cassandra works in a range of programs supporting NYC families in need; these include meal preparation in soup kitchens throughout Manhattan, meal deliveries to homebound New Yorkers, and children’s clothing drives.

Cassandra graduated with honors from the American School in London, holds a B.A. from the University of Michigan, and earned a Grand Diploma in classic culinary arts from the French Culinary Institute.


Richard Mahony, senior director, brings to Gargiulo + Partners more than three decades of experience advising organizations and their leaders on strategic communications. He develops strategies for clients facing critical challenges from competitive pressures, litigation, regulatory actions, and shareholder initiatives. Richard has extensive experience preparing communications for strategic transactions, capital-raising programs, IPOs, and corporate restructurings, as well as communications to address corporate governance, financial disclosure, risk management, and ESG issues. He advises clients, writes, and speaks frequently on climate risk disclosure, establishing Gargiulo + Partners as a leading voice on this critical topic.

Richard began his career as an investment banker at J.P. Morgan and later held senior communications and marketing roles in New York and London, where he served on Morgan’s Operating Committee. He has been a senior executive at leading communications firms and has twice won the annual award for the industry’s top financial communications program.

A dual U.S.-Irish citizen, Richard holds a B.A. from Macalester College, where he was a Truman Scholar, and an M.P.P. from Harvard University.


Constantin Manta is the controller for Gargiulo + Partners. He has 20 years of experience as a CFO/Controller at small businesses such as Real Estate Arts; DMTG, Inc., a direct marketing agency; and AEA Investors, LP.

Constantin holds a B.B.A. from Bernard Baruch College. Born in Romania, he speaks fluent Romanian and English.


Diego Medellin, co-leader of the presentation advisory practice, coaches executives and high-potential talent in presentation and media techniques. Bringing over ten years of experience in business, filmmaking, and performance, Diego prepares public company CEOs and CFOs for network media engagements and in-person and hybrid virtual presentations. His areas of focus also include preparing non-native-English speakers to conduct roadshow presentations, Q&As, and earnings calls in English, and advising on the pre- and post-production of IPO and other videos.

Diego has written, directed, and performed in works for The Fusebox Festival; The Duplicates; the University of Texas, Austin, Lab Theatre; and MOON. at the New Media Festival in New York City.

Diego holds a B.S. in radio, television, and film, and a B.A. in theatre from the University of Texas at Austin. He is a native Spanish speaker and is conversant in Portuguese.


Donna Miller is the chief administrative officer of Gargiulo + Partners. She manages the firm’s internal operations and supports client projects.

Donna began her professional career in the Mergers and Acquisitions group at J.P. Morgan, where she worked with Diane Gargiulo and supported the Global Client Communications team. Subsequently, she worked with the Chief Operating Officer of Insignia/ESG real estate group, in private client services at Lehman Brothers, and in public education, before rejoining Diane to manage business and client administration at Gargiulo + Partners.

Donna holds a B.B.A. in marketing from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and an M.A. in childhood education from New York University. She holds Series 7 and 63 licenses.
