André Gutierrez has more than eight years of experience as a strategic brand-development professional.
Prior to working with Gargiulo + Partners, André led several positioning and naming projects at FutureBrand,
with clients ranging from Telefónica to Zurich Financial Services. While at Straightline International,
André helped reposition and name Columbia/HCA. He also helped pioneer the field of "audio branding,"
the strategic use of music, sound and voice as brand-building tools across diverse consumer touchpoints
with clients like Verizon, ANZ Bank and IBM. Most recently, André has been a director at BrandPartners,
managing retail branding and design projects with clients such as UPS and Integra Bank.
Prior to his career in branding, André taught English and American Literature in Athens. He holds a
B.S.F.S from Georgetown University and an M.A. from the Monterey Institute. André speaks fluent Spanish.
