Robert Schulte, a writer and editor for Gargiulo + Partners, is a NASD-licensed financial writer with more than 30 years of experience advising financial firms and research institutions on clear language and plain-English disclosure.

Over Bob's three-decade career for such clients and employers as UBS, Prudential, E*Trade Financial, TD Waterhouse, and the Research Institute of America, he has written or edited quarterly and annual reports; websites; newsletters; brochures and similar collateral materials; and industry and consumer publications. With his Series 7 and Series 63 certifications, Bob is able to write authoritatively on products and services targeted to a range of clients and financial advisors. His subjects have included equities, mutual funds, taxable fixed income products, retirement products, alternative investments, structured products, and banking products.

Prior to his career in financial writing, Bob served as an able-bodied seaman for the U.S. Merchant Marine; this combined with a two-year stint working on tankers and grain ships for the Atlantic-Richfield Oil Co. gave him the opportunity to sail across the world. He holds a B.A. from Boston University.
